ChrisPC Free YouTube Downloader is a powerful yet easy-to-use
video downloader which works with YouTube, Vimeo, DailyMotion, Flickr, Metacafe
and many other popular sites.

to change the quality settings, set a download folder, or opt to convert the
program to a format of your choice (there are various iPhone, iPad, iPod, MP3
and other profiles on offer). And with a click ChrisPC Free YouTube Downloader

add-on package removes the
limitation and includes some other extras.
If you're used to
YouTube downloaders which have their own search tools, ChrisPC Free YouTube
Downloader's more hands-off approach may seem a little annoying. And
certainly it would benefit from a little more browser integration, perhaps
automatically detecting when you copy and paste a video URL to the clipboard.
The program is otherwise
easy to use, though, and did manage to correctly detect all the available
versions of our test videos (something which still defeats quite a few YouTube
downloaders).
Please note, the program
attempts to install additional software during the setup process. Read every
installation step carefully (including the final one, where there's an
"Install Complitly" checkbox) to make sure you understand what it's
going to do.
